

Tri-County Mental Health Services, one of the area´s largest employers with over 500 employees, recently recognized employees at a luncheon at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Twenty-one individuals with, combined, more than 300 years of service celebrated employment anniversaries this year. Executive Director Chris Copeland shared stories about each person, and thanked them all for their commitment to the agency and to the people who use their services. Honorees are as follows: 25 Years: Arlen Riis, Dale Hutchinson, Nancy Hutchinson, Gail Brown, Susan Ference. 20 Years: Dolores Poulin, Terry Ford. 10 Years: Joseph Childs, Craig Young, Denise Francis, Wanda Farrington, Conrad Ray, II, Pamela Davison, Joan Rodrigue, Terry Andrews, Bruce Coffin, Paul Hausman, Don Dufour, Dr. Owen Buck, R. Diane Hutchinson, and Kathleen Hunt Johnson. Tri-County Mental Health Services is Maine´s most comprehensive agency dealing with the psychological and social well-being of children, adults, and elders. TCMHS serves over 7,000 individuals each year with innovative programs and services addressing mental health, substance abuse, mental retardation/developmental disabilities, autism, and more. Its philosophy of building toward recovery and sensitivity to traumatic experiences of consumers gives hope to individuals, families, and communities in Androscoggin, Northern Cumberland, Franklin and Oxford counties.
