Board Welcomes Two New Members

                                         

Dan Moreno, President of the TCMHS Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the following appointments to our board:  

Ismail Ahmed of Lewiston is a well respected member of the new American community and advocate for mental health services.  He is a self-employed consultant in cultural skills and assists organizations in bridging cultures in their workforces and practices, providing support, training, technical assistance, and resources to assist refugees attain self-sufficiency. Ismail formerly worked with Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services and has been an active community volunteer on the boards of Empower Lewiston, Trinity Jubilee Center, and the Lewiston Auburn College Advisory Council, among others.  He holds a Master's Degree in Leadership Studies.
 
Peter Letourneau is a longtime resident of Auburn, and is V.P./National Accounts for Geiger Manufactured Products for Geiger Brothers.  Peter has been an active board member for Literacy Volunteers, where he spearheaded fundraising events like the popular Scrabble Tournament, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and he has also been involved with the American Red Cross. He offers special skills and interest in budgeting, marketing, and fundraising, and a wealth of relationships in the business community. 
 
Both gentlemen care deeply about the mission of the agency and enthusiastic about bringing their unique strengths to our work.  Welcome!
