PRIVACY STATEMENT
Tri-County Mental Health Services has always maintained a privacy policy so as to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our clients and their treatment. All employees and volunteers of Tri-County Mental Health Services, as well as outside practitioners employed for specific cases, are required to follow and maintain the privacy policy as part of confidential treatment. Information concerning a consumer and his or her treatment is shared only within the community of individuals involved in the specific case so as to provide adequate coverage, while maintaining a strong level of confidence with the consumer.
Confidential treatment information must be shared when an instance warrants an individual posing an immediate threat to themselves or others. In other instances, health information may only be disclosed with written permission from the consumer. Our treatment of any consumer will in no way be affected by their decision to disclose medical information.
