Community Housing

If you need safe, affordable housing or residential supports in your community, then Tri-County's Community Housing offers access to both services and accommodation in Androscoggin, Oxford, Franklin and northern Cumberland counties.

The services and supports we offer to people reflect Tri-County's core beliefs of hope, recovery, sensitivity to the impact of trauma, and individualized planning. We believe that everyone is entitled to safe secure housing in the community of their choice. People with mental illnesses are fully able to identify and choose those things which they need to live in their communities. It is our role to help you or your families with access and support.

We offer:

general information and referral to housing resources, landlords and related services in the various parts of the Tri County catchment area.

referral and liaison with Community Concepts to housing developed jointly with Tri County, and offering subsidy rental for 19 apartments.

administration, management and oversight of 3 apartment buildings, 24 units developed with U.S.- HUD.

administration and management rental subsidy programs

Bridging Rental Assistance Program & Shelter Plus Care offering financial support to individuals.

Residential Housing Services

Four group living residential treatment sites, staffed 24/7 in Lewiston, Rumford, Sabattus and Lisbon, for between 5 and 7 people. These sites offer varying degrees of independence and a range of supports, tailored to client need, such as; Life management skills, Personal /Health care skills, social supports & skill building, assistance in pursuing educational/ vocational goals, communication skills, symptom management, and building independence & supporting autonomy.
