Group Services for AdultsSpecialized Group Services are offered for adults working to create opportunities for living fuller lives. Group members will learn about different coping skills and empowerment strategies. Day Supports - This group supports wellness and recovery by helping people learn strategies for managing symptoms, communicating, and building support systems. Preparing for Change- This group will help you develop the knowledge, skills, support and confidence to deal with changes and to move forward in your recovery. DBT GROUP - Through group sessions, clients will learn emotional regulation, distress tolerence and interpersonal skill development which will enhance client's lives and improve their abillity to manage and cope with day to day expectations and stress. Emotion Regulation (Anger Management)- This group is for people with mental illness who also have anger problems. It uses a combined appraoch that employs relaxation, cognitive and communication skills. You will learn to manage anger, stop violence or the threat of violence, develop self control, and receive support from others. PRISM Group (Program for Innovative Self Management)- This group gives you basic building blocks for empowerment, such as self-talk, self-soothing, self-expression. Obsessive Compuslive Disorder (OCD)- This group will help you learn about OCD and its symptoms, understand treatment options, and develop your own self-directed plan for combating OCD.
